Give your comments on sysmon here. Thanks in advance!

Caveats: On jurassic hardware, it is very slow. Performs slow but ok on a P2 350 - 128Mb RAM, but less than that (like a P200 - 32 MB) is not much good: 20 min to draw the page! Of course that machine is pretty slow at most everything ;-)

Installs sysmon link into server-manager - on the first system the link went under Administration (where it's supposed to go), but on the second the link was put under "Unknown" (which was there previously). I don't think this is at all important, just don't be surprised. (RonM)

If you are upgrading from a previous version you must remove all rrd files from /var/lib/rrd or graphs will not display correctly. (Brian Kirk)

6.0.1-01. machine On every reboot sysmon reports service start, but does not to draw the graphs. Bootup message reports the start was o.k. Issuing service sysmon restart corrects the drawing problem but one have to wait about 3 minutes. Logfile sysmon is empty. Package is e-smith-sysmon-4.1-3.noarch.rpm.

boot.log:

6.0.1-01 - As it says above, after my install, it was put under "unknown" at the bottom, doing the following put it where it was supposed to go, under "Administration":

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot
